So I asked my two-year old, “whose God?”
“He’s God’” he informed, then asked, “who else?”
“Well,” I thought a minute, “He is Jesus, and Mighty Counselor, Prince of Peace and Lord of Lords.”
“What else, what else!” Bubba cheered in anticipation.
“Well… Emmanuel, Alpha and Omega, The One True God, our Provider and our Banner!”
Staring in wonder with his big blue eyes Bubba asked, ”But where is he mom?”
“He’s all around and with us wherever we go.”
Bubba looked at me, obviously puzzled. “No, no, no he’s no-ot!
Really? He seemed so insistent.
“I ate him. See…” he pointed to his amply belly, “he’s in my tummy!”
I guess Bubba found new meaning in the concept of Jesus coming to live in me!

Precious! When my girls asked the same question (where is Jesus) I taught them the old song that goes:
He lives! He lives!
Christ Jesus lives today.
He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.
He lives! He lives!
Salvation to impart.
You ask me how I know he lives?
HE LIVES WITHIN MY HEART
I forgot about that one, thanks for posting it – T.M
How cute…it is beautiful watching how their spiritual awareness unfolds. What a precious job to cultivate their souls for the Savior.
Yes, yes, yes!
Love this! My four-year-old has been struggling with being scared at night and I have told him when he is scared, he needs to pray and ask God to take the fear from his heart. To this he asked, “So God doesn’t like monsters either?” I love how the minds of my little ones constantly make me smile!
Oh how precious!
So cute!! I love the innocense of lil’ ones!! So precious!!
Love the honesty and creativity of kids! Their answers never grow old!
So true. They are a blast!
