Adorable Christmas picture book.
While this book is not put out by a Christian publisher I found the pictures irresistable.
The story is still the christmas story, taken from the King James version of the Bible.
Maybe I can relate to Mary better because of her basketball tummy and the fun way her and Joseph are depicted.
From the tatter winged angel to the overloaded donkey this book is adorable.
I will warn you, I was a bit surprised to find a page with baby Jesus naked, complete with his “peanut” showing (as Loud calls it) but we have plenty of those in our house so it isn’t a deal breaker. If you have only girls and don’t want to have to explain that yet, you may have to do creative “editing” in the form of a sticker etc.
